An active, inquisitive and inquiring educational environment

The inspiration of the design is ‘The Greenhouse for Science and Environmental Studies’ at kibbutz ‘Ein-Shemer’ Israel, founded by Avital Geva and was exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1993.

‘The Ein Shemer Greenhouse’ implements an innovative project-based learning process which faces the challenges of the industry, and connects the students with experts in various fields of research.

‘The Ein Shemer Greenhouse’, the size of a soccer field, is an experiential learning expanse. An open, wide and impressive space containing a wealth of materials, textures and sounds. In this space the nature and the student’s handprint are felt everywhere.
